Official Testimonies & Submissions

Dui Hua has been invited by official bodies to give formal testimonies and submit recommendations on human rights issues in China. Dui Hua testimonies before US Congress provide concrete recommendations on how the US can play a role in monitoring human rights in China. Most testimonies have been given before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC), which Executive Director John Kamm helped establish in 2000. They generally pertain to prisoner lists, political prisoners, and Dui Hua’s Political Prisoner Database. Dui Hua has also made submissions and statements to the UN since it obtained Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council in 2005.
